The service
Budget Tracker is a personal budgeting app that helps you track spending and budgets, import transactions from CSV/Excel, and optionally connect bank accounts through Plaid to sync transactions automatically. By using the app you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity under your account. Provide accurate information and use the app only for lawful, personal purposes.
Subscriptions and payments
Automatic bank sync requires a paid subscription (currently $10/month), billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Free features (manual entry, CSV/Excel import, budgets) do not require a subscription.
Bank connections
Bank connectivity is provided by Plaid under its own terms and privacy policy. You authorize us and Plaid to access the account information you connect, solely to display and categorize your transactions within the app. You can disconnect a bank at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, or use it to violate any law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” for personal budgeting and is not financial, tax, or investment advice. Transaction data comes from third parties and may be delayed or incomplete; verify important figures against your bank’s official statements.
